To reduce the risk of Covid-19 contagious among the elderly and healthcare professionals, Hyundai offers free rides

Performed by: Hyundai

Country: Brazil

In March 2020, Hyundai in Florianópolis – Brazil started offering free rides to health professionals and people over 60 with the “Transporte Solidário” (Solidarity Transport, translated literally) program. In the program, test drive cars stopped due to the closing of stores are used for mobility. The measure seeks to prevent the most vulnerable population with a high risk of exposure to the virus from using public transport, a place of high risk of contamination due to the difficulty of maintaining the distance between passengers and limited ventilation of the space.
In April, the company announced the extension of the program to other cities in Brazil.
